The extension project of the T2 International Terminal, Tan Son Nhat Airport was divided into two phases with Phase 1 being the expansion to the east, and Phase 2 to the west after Phase 1 was put into operation). After completion, the extended terminal will be able to receive about 13 million passengers per year, an increase of 3 million compared to the previous capacity.
